Denver Broncos Rookie WR Pat Bryant Dynasty Outlook
Main Image: Ron Chenoy USA Today Sports

Pat Bryant was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the third round (74th overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft. Quarterback Bo Nix needed more receiver help, so the Broncos went out and got their guy in Bryant, who was then compared to a former superstar wide receiver. How does he fit into the offense, and what is Pat Bryant’s dynasty outlook?

Dynasty Outlook for Pat Bryant

Current Production

Bryant spent all four years of his collegiate career at the University of Illinois and got better each season. In his senior season last year, he had 54 receptions for 984 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged over 18 yards per catch. Bryant is a physical outside wide receiver who has a good catch radius. However, he struggled with speed and pass blocking, only running a 4.61 40-yard dash at the combine.

Bryant Dynasty Price

According to KeepTradeCut, a website that crowdsources dynasty values from players who use the site, Bryant is the WR71. He is ranked behind Romeo Doubs, Tank Dell, and Quentin Johnston while ranked ahead of Marquise Brown, Elic Ayomanor, and Christian Watson. His value and ranking have increased since the Draft, meaning fantasy managers are buying the hype on him.

Bryant is being drafted in the middle of the third round in rookie dynasty drafts. Other rookie receivers going around him are Jalen Royals and Ayomanor.

Bryant Dynasty Outlook

Courtland Sutton is the WR1 for the Broncos, but there is not much depth behind him in the WR room. Marvin Mims Jr. is an electric playmaker, but he has not had much production yet in the NFL. Devaughn Vele and Troy Franklin were both rookies last year who were not a big part of the offense. The Broncos did sign tight end Evan Engram to be a veteran target for quarterback Bo Nix, but they need a second wide receiver.

The path and opportunity are there for Bryant to become the WR2 for Nix and the Broncos. None of these other guys behind Sutton are serious threats to win the job. Bryant should be able to win the job and be the physical outside threat opposite of Sutton. Additionally, Sutton will be a free agent after this season, meaning the WR1 job in Denver could be open in 2026. If Bryant plays well enough in his rookie season, he could be the top target for Nix when Sutton leaves, giving Bryant a ton of upside.

Bryant Player Comparison

After head coach Sean Payton drafted Bryant, he said that Bryant reminded him of one of his former players, Michael Thomas from the Saints. This is very high praise for Bryant, as Thomas was one of the best wide receivers in the league when he was healthy. In Thomas’s first three seasons in the league, his PPR finishes among wide receivers were: WR5, WR6, and WR1. Then, injuries unfortunately cost him the rest of his career. If Bryant can even come close to that, he will be a tremendous steal for both the Broncos and dynasty managers.

Should You Draft Pat Bryant in Dynasty Leagues?

Yes, Bryant is a great player to target in the third round of rookie drafts. Not many rookies being drafted in the third round have a chance to be the WR1 for their team within the next two years, but Bryant has that upside with the impending free agency of Sutton. Sean Payton has already given high praise to Bryant, comparing him to Thomas. Payton will find a way to get Bryant the ball a lot, giving him plenty of opportunities to succeed. Bryant has a very encouraging dynasty outlook and is a player fantasy managers should not leave their drafts without.
