Denver Broncos to hold joint practices with NFC foe ahead of one of their preseason games
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos are going through a weird offseason. They have gutted some pretty important parts of their roster with long-time Denver players, so it's hard to tell what direction this team is headed.

One thing that remains constant is Sean Payton's coaching style. He will continue to be tough, demanding respect, and ensuring the team is always prepared. This consistency brings a sense of stability to the team.

So, considering your team is very young as well, why not put it up against one of the best young teams in the league? That's what they will do this offseason.

According to Mike Klis of Denver Nine News, the Broncos and the Green Bay Packers will have joint practices ahead of their preseason game on Aug. 18 in Denver. The Broncos are set to start construction on the new practice facility/headquarters, but there is no word yet on whether fans can attend.

"We may be going on the road for a joint practice as well," said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, whose Packers will have a joint practice with Baltimore before their home preseason game with the Ravens on Aug. 24. "Actually, we are going on the road. We're going to Denver. … We'll have Baltimore for one practice, and we'll go to Denver for one practice."

We have seen this happen before from teams, including the Broncos and the Los Angeles Rams last season.

So, this should be super fun and a great way to gauge the Broncos' progress as they enter 2024.
