Prior to your 5-7 Los Angeles Chargers' borderline must-win Sunday bout against the 6-6 Denver Broncos, both teams are making some moves to address deficits dotting their extant rosters.
On the Denver side of the equation, Aric DiLalla of Broncos.com reports that the Broncos are inking rookie linebacker Durell Nchami to a practice squad agreement.
The 6'4", 258-pound Nchami went undrafted this past spring after a successful tenure with the University of Maryland Terrapins.
With former practice squad defensive lineman PJ Mustipher now on the Saints, Nchami became a necessary flyer choice for team GM Tom Telesco this week.
DiLalla hasn't made much of an impact just yet. Last season, as a super-senior while at the University of Maryland, he passed for 20 yards, notched six tackles for loss, recorded three sacks and forced a fumble. He seems like he'd be an asset with a variety of regimes. Luckily for Los Angeles, Telesco made the move first. He's a Bolt now. Let's see what he can bring in team practice drills through Friday and then take stock of just what he can do for the club at the next level
