The Browns stars were able to take in some baseball before the franchise returns to the field. The appearance offered a glimpse of the two Cleveland players away from their usual NFL surroundings.
For Watson and Verse, it was a chance to enjoy the Guardians alongside their strong start to the Browns’ season.
Jared Verse recorded two tackles against Pittsburgh, including one solo stop. Cleveland’s defense also produced five sacks and two interceptions in the victory.
Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson completed 24 of 33 passes for 268 yards and a touchdown. He also helped lead the final scoring drive after the Steelers tied the game at 24, moving Cleveland into field-goal range.
The Browns will now turn their attention to the New York Jets in Week 5.
