Deshaun Watson sued for alleged sexual assault, Texans QB denies allegations

The Deshaun Watson saga took an unexpected on Tuesday.

A sexual assault lawsuit has been filed against the Houston Texans quarterback, according to Fox 26 Houston. Attorney Tony Buzbee indicated that Watson allegedly received a massage from a woman and that the three-time Pro Bowler "went too far."

Watson responded to the allegations via social media on Tuesday night, saying, "I have never treated any woman with anything other than the utmost respect."

While Watson will have to deal with the legal system, he also may have to deal with an investigation by the NFL to determine if he violated the league's Personal Conduct Policy. The NFL often investigates claims separate from the legal process, and it's unclear how they'll handle this situation. However, they'll likely begin by fully examining the legal filing.
