Deshaun Watson tweets interest in Texans adding Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown's possible return to the NFL has sparked a plethora of rumors and speculation, with several teams being linked to the talented but troubled receiver. The latest team to be linked to Brown? The Houston Texans, thanks to Chad Johnson and Deshaun Watson interacting on Twitter.

The speculation began when Johnson, who has been out of the league for several years, tweeted, "AB to the Texans." That alone would not have been much to go off, as Johnson presumably has as much say in the Texans' operation as you or I do.

However, things really started heating up when Watson retweeted Johnson along with a meme of Drake looking out the window of his limo. Translation: Watson is into the idea.

The fact that Watson is interested in adding a receiver to the Texans roster should not come as too much of a surprise to anyone who has followed their offseason. The team surprisingly traded away superstar receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals and now lack a clear No. 1 receiver. Replacing Hopkins with Brown would be ideal for Watson, who is looking to establish himself as one of the game's elite young quarterbacks alongside Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.

Of course, signing Brown comes with some serious baggage that may prove to be too much for the Texans and other teams. Brown missed all but one game last season, where he played with Brady on the Patriots, racking up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown before he was cut by the team after allegations of sexual assault surfaced. He has not played in the NFL since. Even if Brown is signed by the Texans or any other team, he is expected to be suspended by the league upon returning, with reports saying he may miss up to eight games.
