Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson has made news recently be demanding a trade from the Houston Texans. His agent, David Mulugheta of Athletes First, has also made news by pushing back against previously erroneous reporting on the situation.
We’re now hearing from Mr. Mulugheta again. This time, Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre is the target.
There’s some background needed here. Favre spoke with Yahoo Sports on Wednesday, pretty much going after Watson at every turn:

Well, Mulugheta had a pretty strong response to those remarks. To say he didn’t hold back would be an understatement.
“Brett should probably stop throwing stones from that glass house he’s sitting in,” the agent wrote on Twitter.
That’s just a whole bunch of ouch right there. Favre really should read the room before going after Watson. Wasn’t it back in 2005 that Favre put up a stink over the Green Bay Packers drafting someone by the name of Aaron Rodgers? Wasn’t it just three years later that Favre left Green Bay? We just want to put it all out there for the sake of understanding what’s happening here.
The Watson situation is obviously different from what Favre found himself in some 16 years ago. But a dude who is worth roughly $100 million talking about those who make money not deserving the ability to voice an opinion is about as rich as it gets, especially coming from Mr. Favre himself.
Either way, this just adds more drama to the entire Watson situation as the NFL’s reigning passing champion looks to move on from the Houston Texans.
