The NFL will release the Detroit Lions' schedule on Wednesday, but before then, little things are trickling out. Right now, we know that the Lions won't play the Bears on Thanksgiving for the fifth time in eight years. We also know that it looks like the Lions could be playing in a lot of prime time games.
The next thing we know, and this is sneakily a big deal, is that the Lions will be one of the teams that have to travel the least in 2025.

The Lions will have to travel the fourth least amount of miles in 2025. This comes after last year, when they were around the middle of the league due to trips to Arizona, San Francisco, and Dallas.
This year, the farthest the Lions will go is Los Angeles to play the Rams. Otherwise, all their away games a really close and some, like the Bengals and Bears, are just a short bus ride away.
This is a leg up for sure. Take a look at the Vikings. They have to go all over the place this year, including two European trips. You have to believe jet lag could be a part of a loss for them.
