D.J. Moore confident about Bears’ success under Caleb Williams, claims the organization is willing to 'ride through HELL and back' with the rookie QB

The Chicago Bears have revamped the team’s offense yet again. It has been a rough past year for the team as they concluded that Justin Fields was not the man for the job in the long run. The Bears now have a renewed sense of energy with Caleb Williams as the quarterback. This year, all eyes will be on Chicago.

Wide receiver D.J. Moore, who has vouched for Justin Fields on numerous occasions now faces himself paired with a new quarterback. He understands the dynamics of the NFL and as a result, he is willing to go the extra mile for his new QB.

In an interview with NFL.com, Moore revealed the confidence that the Bears have in Williams.

Business is business. I seen it coming. At the end of the day, he was the quarterback last year, now we got Caleb. We’re gonna ride through HELL and back with him, so I’m just looking forward to seeing what he put out.

D.J. Moore said

It is what it is, Moore is not going to focus on the past, he is just excited about this new chapter and has Williams’ back despite having just met him.

D.J. Moore is fully committed to improving this season as he has been attending the Bears’ OTAs

The wideout is displaying his focus by showing up to the team’s organized team activities that are an option for players. His eyes are on the money as he intends to scoop up his $200,000 offseason workout bonus.

I want to be here and make that money. Outside of that you got to get the connection down with Caleb and with everybody, even Rome and the whole room. The whole offense just wants to be around each other and build that bond, the relationships that we had last year, and form it with new people. D.J. Moore added

By showing up earlier, Moore has a chance to build chemistry with his new quarterback and peer in the receivers department, Rome Odunze.

The Bears have no shortage of depth on their roster this season. The bigger question is will Caleb Williams live up to the hype? As the number 1 pick of his draft class, he has the most pressure to succeed. When you factor in the Bears’ confidence in him to trade away Justin Fields and risk the next few years of the franchise on Williams, he has a lot to prove.

Williams is no stranger to pressure. He has been looking forward to this challenge for the longest time. It was evident once the NFL season concluded that he was in all likelihood headed to Chicago. The Bears began to embrace him as their QB weeks before the draft took place. The team flew him out to Los Angeles, hosted team dinners for him to allow him to bond with his new teammates, and treated him as a member of their active roster. It will be intriguing to see how the new-look Bears fare this season.
