Tyreek Hill has expressed that he wants out, but he hasn't made anything official with the Miami Dolphins.

Hill didn't mince words following the Dolphins' Week 18 loss to the New York Jets. Miami wrapped up the season 8-9 and missed the postseason.

"This is my first time I haven't been in the playoffs," Hill told reporters. "I just gotta do what's best for me and my family. If that's here or wherever the case may be, I'm finna open that door for myself. I'm opening the door. I'm out, bro.

"It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, bro, I got to do what's best for my career. I'm too much of a competitor to be just out there."

Hill let his frustration boil over after a difficult season, both personally and for the team. Miami played without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for a chunk of the season, and Hill's numbers suffered. Hill caught just 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns. It was the first time he had not broken 1,000 yards since 2019, when he played in just 12 games. His 56.4 yards per game were the lowest since his rookie season with Kansas City.

While Hill made a very public statement, general manager Chris Grier says he has yet to demand his way out of Miami.

“I will say in a frustrating season, he was very emotional in a game where we had a chance coming back from 2-6," Grier said on Tuesday. "Mike (McDaniel) and I both had conversations with Tyreek yesterday. Productive conversations. ... I would say he never asked for a trade with me."

Hill agreed to a restructured deal with the Dolphins prior to last season, bumping up his guaranteed money to $106.5 million. His contract runs through the 2026 season.
