Dolphins players remove ping-pong tables from locker room to help with game prep

Through the first three weeks of the regular season, the Miami Dolphins were on cruise control, boasting a 3-0 record and looking like one of the favorites in the AFC. Since then, they have dropped two in a row, been at the center of a concussion protocol investigation and have seen both starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and backup Teddy Bridgewater be sidelined due to concussions.

Ahead of their Week 6 contest against the Minnesota Vikings, players are making an interesting change in the locker room to try and get back on track.

Ping-pong tables are often a staple of professional sports' locker rooms, joining poker tables and other fun, light-hearted activities for downtime.

Dolphins first year head coach Mike McDaniel announced Wednesday morning that Tagovailoa has been officially ruled out for Week 6 and the current plan is to start rookie seventh round draft pick Skylar Thompson against the Vikings. Miami will host Minnesota at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
