With the Miami Dolphins coming off a very disappointing 2024 season, there isn't much time for this iteration of the Dolphins. With Mike McDaniel and Tua Tagovailoa at the forefront of the team, 2025 could be the year things drastically change if there isn't stark improvement.

During a segment on Bleacher Report, naming seven head coaches who could get fired in 2025, McDaniel was the second-named head coach who could get fired.

"The instability of the quarterback position, and some other drama with the Miami Dolphins," Ray G Que said on Bleacher Report. "Has Mike McDaniels' future very much up in the air with the Dolphins going into 2025."

Miami is dealing with a litany of issues within its organization, not including the major question marks surrounding Tagovailoa. Jalen Ramsey is likely gone at some point in the offseason.

Tyreek Hill has floated the idea of him being traded at multiple points as well. Most recently, Jonnu Smith wants a raise, but the Dolphins don't look like they'll give it to him.

Between the incoming loss of Ramsey and the potential of losing Smith and Hill, the two top receiving options from 2024, the Dolphins are in a precarious situation leading up to 2025.

The prediction that McDaniel could get fired in 2025 it's not a surprise. With the instability inside the team and the major question marks lingering from year to year, there is reason for McDaniels to be on the hot seat.

If things go poorly for Miami in 2025, the Dolphins' ownership would likely part ways with McDaniel, and some oftheir veteran players as well. The Dolphins are in dangerous territyory of going through a rebuild, as a lot of their best players are older, or nearing the ned of their current deals.

McDaniels being predicted to be fired won't be the last time his name is put on the hot seat. Barring a great playoff run, McDaniels' seat will be hot through the end of the 2025 season.
