Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa could make history with win over Broncos

Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has impressed this season, winning his first three starts with the club to help Brian Flores' squad to a 6-3 record. If he gets his fourth win on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, Tagovailoa will make history.

According to ESPN Stats and Information, if Tagovailoa gets his fourth straight win, he'll become the first Dolphins quarterback to win his first four career starts with the franchise. He'll also become just the second rookie QB to win his first four starts in the last 40 seasons, joining Pittsburgh Steelers veteran Ben Roethlisberger.

Tagovailoa has completed 63.6 percent of his passes for 519 yards and five touchdowns this season. He also has 15 carries for 34 yards.

The Dolphins and Broncos haven't met since 2017, but Miami came out on top with a 35-9 win in their last matchup thanks to former Broncos QB Trevor Siemian, who tossed three interceptions.

Tagovailoa matches up against Drew Lock, who is dealing with bruised ribs after being knocked around by the Las Vegas Raiders last week. If that inhibits Lock from playing his best, Tagovailoa very well could come out on top at Empower Field.
