The Miami Dolphins may have gone cold in Sunday’s 23-17 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, but they were quite toasty on the sidelines.
Playing inside the domed SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, where the temperature was in the mid-50s, the NBC broadcast pointed out that the Dolphins had a few propane heaters behind their benches, to which Twitter acted accordingly.
Saw some scuttlebutt about the Dolphins having heaters on their sideline last night. In Los Angeles. In a partially outdoor stadium.

Being the trained journalist I am, I held a healthy level of skepticism.
Alas, I do believe I've spotted the heaters. #InvestigateJournalism pic.twitter.com/u65GZwMWAJ
The #Dolphins cannot hope to win in the playoffs if they needed space heaters on the sidelines in Los Angeles https://t.co/ex6lmKmlHf pic.twitter.com/0r5RWMEW36

Hey @ChrisBrownBills, if the Bills' benches' heaters stop working Saturday, do the Dolphins have to turn theirs off? Asking for a friend. https://t.co/IHZgzRW6Ca

Those heaters may be hitting the road with the Dolphins again this week when they travel to Buffalo on Saturday where the temperature is expected to be in the low 20s with the possibility of a half-foot of snow — a little bit of payback for Miami’s 21-19 win over the Bills at Hard Rock Stadium in Week 3, according to quarterback Josh Allen.
“I definitely think that is an advantage that we have,” Allen said in a recent interview with Kyle Brandt of “Good Morning Football.” “You talk about weather advantage, Miami’s got a weather advantage too. The opposing sideline is in the sun and it’s 20-30 degrees hotter on the away side than it is the home side. But having the cold here, I think that kind of evens stuff out. …We’ve got the edge (in Buffalo) because we know how to function in this type of weather.”
Might need more than heaters this week! pic.twitter.com/cfnnA1bZP1
