in an interview on 550 WQAM Friday morning , Coach Hafley said he was hoping to have all three coordinators in place by the end of this weekend.

NFL Insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported on Thursday that the Miami Dolphins have requested permission to interview Jerrod Johnson for their offensive coordinator position.

He is currently the Houston Texans’ quarterbacks coach.

On Wednesday, Jonathan Jones, the NFL Insider for CBS Sports, says to keep an eye on Minnesota Vikings passing game coordinator Brian Angelichio as someone that Jeff Hafley may hire as his offensive coordinator.

Hafley has worked with Angelichio off and on for two decades, first at the University of Pittsburgh, then at Rutgers, and later when they were both on the same staff at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Cleveland Browns.

There are rumblings that Miami may also have interest in the Cowboys’ quarterbacks coach, Steve Shimko, for their offensive coordinator position as well.

But Miami hasn’t formally requested an interview for Shimko yet.

Shimko was the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator at Boston College when Jeff Hafley was the head coach
