
Dolphins Sign TE Ben Sims
The Miami Dolphins have signed free agent tight end Ben Sims to a one-year deal. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed at this time.
Sims will be 26 in May and went undrafted in 2023.
He was signed by the Vikings but cut at the final cuts in late August.
He was then claimed by the Green Bay Packers and was there from 2023 till October 2025, when he was let go by Green Bay.
He returned to the Vikings for the rest of the 2025 season.
Sims has played in 45 games, starting 8 during his NFL Career.
He has 11 career receptions for 93 total yards and one touchdown.
Last season in Green Bay, he started 2 games and played in 8 games total.

The Dolphins didn’t tender Julian Hill on Wednesday making him a free agent and a few hours later he signed with the Patriots
Darren Waller isn’t expected to be back in Miami.
And the Dolphins re-signed Greg Dulcich earlier this week so Sims will have a chance to compete for playing time this season.
