Dolphins Stock Up/Stock Down Report: Dolphins vs Falcons Recap
Rich Storry-Imagn Images

Week 8 of the regular season is in the books, and the Miami Dolphins went to Atlanta and shocked the world with a blowout victory over the Falcons. This game was over early in the second half as Miami kept scoring and Atlanta couldn’t keep up.

Here is my Stock Up/Stock Down report.

STOCK UP

Ollie Gordon: Receiving a touchdown on the day, double-digit carries rushing the football, and he converted multiple short-yardage situations when the Dolphins offense only needed a yard or so.

Jaylen Waddle: He averaged around 20 yards per reception and scored a touchdown as well. After being a total non-factor last week, he stepped up and had a huge game against one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Jordyn Brooks: Led the team in tackles, a sack, and three tackles for loss. Brooks was a man possessed out there today.

Miami’s Offensive Line: If you blitz them, they still can’t pick it up, but from a run blocking perspective, they dominated the Falcons today. I know at times they went with six offensive linemen, but so be it. They should have been doing this years ago, hell, I have been calling for this for years. When your offensive line is lackluster, go with six, especially when you don’t have a viable tight end —something Miami doesn’t have right now.

Jake Bailey: If the Dolphins send someone to the Pro Bowl, it’s probably going to be De’Von Achane. If they send two, the second will be Jake Bailey.

Mike McDaniel: He is still going to get fired; he is still a really bad head coach, but he had his team ready today, and his game plan worked, and he didn’t stray from it when they got up by a lot. You wish he had done stuff like this sooner; he may have been able to save his job, but for one day, he was very good.
