Donald Trump urges NFL teams to hire John Harbaugh

Add President Donald Trump to the list of people who cannot believe the Baltimore Ravens fired head coach John Harbaugh.

Trump took to his Truth Social website on Wednesday to urge teams to hire Harbaugh. He added praise for Jim Harbaugh as his well, calling both brothers “total winners.”

“HIRE JOHN HARBAUGH, FAST,” Trump wrote. “HE, AND HIS BROTHER, ARE TOTAL WINNERS!!!”

Plenty of teams appear poised to take Trump’s advice on this one. Harbaugh has immediately become the most coveted candidate on the coaching market, to the point that some teams that still have coaches employed are considering making a run at him anyway.

It is hard to argue with the president on this one. Harbaugh boasts a 180-113 record over his NFL career and has a Super Bowl title to his name. That kind of resume, plus the fact that he can boast 18 years of consistent success and stability with the Ravens, will get him hired pretty quickly and give him his choice of jobs.

The Ravens fired Harbaugh on Tuesday , two days after their season-ending loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that kept them out of the playoffs.
