After having two disappointing seasons to begin his career, Drake London exploded in 2024, finishing as a top-ten fantasy wide receiver for the Falcons. Michael Penix Jr. will be the Week 1 starter for the Falcons in 2025 which should help London and the entire offense. Here is the dynasty outlook for Drake London.
London had an up-and-down 2024 season in fantasy, finishing as a top-15 weekly wide receiver four times but finishing outside the top 30 seven times. Overall, London finished as the WR10 in fantasy through Week 17, but if you include Week 18, where he had over 40 fantasy points, he finished as the WR5 in PPR leagues.
The biggest change for the Falcons was when they benched quarterback Kirk Cousins before Week 16, allowing the rookie Michael Penix Jr. to take the helm. In 14 starts with Cousins, London only topped the 100-receiving yard mark once, when he went for 154 yards against a shaky Buccaneers defense. However, in three starts with Penix, he went over 100 yards in two of them. Even though the Week 18 game did not count for most fantasy managers in the 2024 fantasy playoffs, it is a very encouraging sign for London owners in dynasty leagues. Penix pampered London with 18 targets in that game. Additionally, Penix looked much better than Cousins, and the Falcons offense was more successful than it was with Cousins. London will be playing with the best quarterback of his career next season.
According to KeepTradeCut, London entered the 2024 season as the WR13 in dynasty, fell to the WR18 after a couple of weeks, and is now the WR9. He is right below Puka Nacua and Nico Collins and just ahead of Ladd McConkey and Marvin Harrison Jr. This seems to be a fair spot to rank London. According to their trade calculator, London is worth around a very early first-round pick.
London is one of the early picks for breakout player of the year for the 2025 season. He has played with terrible quarterbacks in his young career, and that is about to change next year. With a full offseason ahead of training with Penix, London and Penix should be able to establish a greater connection. Penix will be the best quarterback that London has ever played with, and this Falcons offense should take a step up.

Looking at London’s contract, he will be entering the fourth year of his rookie contract. Since he was a first-round draft pick, the Falcons can pick up a fifth-year option for 2026. Otherwise, he becomes a free agent. Expect the Falcons to either pick it up and/or extend London. They are not going to let him go.
The simple answer: buy. It is time to buy London and the Falcons offense. Be aggressive in trying to trade for London. If you are a rebuilding team and have an early-round pick that’s not the 1.01 (Ashton Jeanty), then trade it away for London, who is a safer player than whoever will be available in the rookie draft.
