Drake Was Caught On Camera Preparing To Unleash Major Shot At Caleb Williams After Bears QB Tried To Steal His Nickname

Rapper Drake is believed to have taken a swipe at Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams following a recent sighting.

The hip-hop icon was recently recorded shooting a music video in downtown Toronto. He wore a Green Bay Packers jacket while next to massive ice blocks.

“A clear shot at Caleb Williams for taking the Iceman nickname,” Dov Kleiman suggested.

Drake previously caused a stir after leaked DMs exposed him for referring to Jackson Mahomes as a homosexual. Jackson, the brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, supposedly “pressed” the rapper over a certain lyric.

Now, it appears Champagne Papi is skipping brothers and going straight for the QB. This time, the pass rush is over a nickname.

Caleb notably tried to trademark the name “Iceman” this offseason, but has faced some opposition. Former NBA superstar George Gervin, who’s owned the moniker for decades, has objected to the filing.

Drake is not involved in the trademark feud. However, given his penchant for mentioning athletes in his lyrics, fans predicted that he might weigh in since it’s the name of his upcoming album.

They were not sure which angle he would take if it ever came to that. He would either endorse it or poke fun at Williams.

Given Drake’s choice of jacket, it’s probably the latter.

The Bears star made a massive jump from year 1 after welcoming Ben Johnson as head coach and was responsible for some of the most sensational moments of the 2025 season. He’s looking to claim ownership over the “Iceman” nickname because of his ice-cold performances.

But most sports fans who have been alive long enough would know that Gervin has been the “Iceman” since the 70s.
