Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers are fresh off their first loss in the 2025 NFL season, as they got humbled by the Cleveland Browns on the road during a Week 4 meeting last Sunday.
Love did not play particularly well in that 13-10 loss to Myles Garrett and company. Green Bay’s offense looked clunky, with Love throwing for just 183 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception, his third of the season, while going 18 of 25. He was also sacked five times for a loss of 34 yards.
Despite his underwhelming performance versus the Browns, Love was able to draw support from former New Orleans Saints franchise quarterback Drew Brees.
During an appearance on “First Take,” Breese named Love as one of his favorite quarterbacks in the league today, alongside the likes of Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills signal-caller and reigning NFL Most Valuable Player Josh Allen.

“I think Jordan Love is playing outstanding,” Brees said.
Stephen A. Smith was surprised by Brees’ take on Love, considering the loss to the Browns, but the 13-time Pro Bowler doubled down on his point.
“He’s going to be just fine. He’s one of my favorite young quarterbacks in this league right now,” Brees added.
Moreover, Brees, who won a Super Bowl with the Saints, said that the Packers are still the “favorite to go win it all.”
Added Brees: ” You have to defend every blade of grass against them. They’re in my top three for sure.”
The 2-1 Packers will look to recover in Week 4, as they play the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington.
