After 12 years in the NFL, we’ve finally found a hole in Jason Kelce’s game. It’s covered with bacon and available at the Jersey shore.
Just weeks after drinking the folks of Sea Isle City under the table, for charity of course, Philadelphia’s All-Pro center was back at the beach with another charitable endeavor: a custom-made doughnut called the “Fat Kelce.”
When the Fractured Prune, a popular doughnut shop with locations in North Wildwood, Sea Isle and Ocean City, asked Kelce to create his own doughnut, the 295-pound lineman didn’t hold back.
The result was the store’s signature doughnut covered with a peanut butter glaze, crumbled bacon, and finished with a chocolate and honey drizzle. Calorie information for the “Fat Kelce” remains unavailable, which is probably a good thing.
Jason Kelce now has his own signature donut, the “Fat Kelce”. The donut features a peanut butter glaze, bacon, chocolate, and a honey drizzle.

All proceeds from the sale of the doughnuts will help Kelce’s (Be) Philly Foundation do good things for the city like supporting the education nonprofit Heights Philadelphia and Coded by Kids, a nonprofit that helps underrepresented youth become tech and innovation leaders.
Kelce should be commended for all his philanthropic endeavors, but on a recent episode of the New Heights podcast he shares with his brother Travis, the elder Kelce didn’t sound like a man who enjoys fancy doughnuts.
“I’m not a creative food guy,” Kelce said. “Just give me a glazed doughnut. I know you’re a good doughnut store if you make a glazed doughnut. Stop coming up with your tricks and Instagram photos to get me into your store.”
Luckily for everyone, especially those with a sweet tooth, Kelce seems to have softened his stance on the popular pastry. If you find yourself at the (South) Jersey shore anytime soon, grab yourself a “Fat Kelce.” It’s the right thing to do and a tasty way to do it.
