Eagles' beloved veteran Brandon Graham flashes glimpse of hope for Super Bowl return

Defensive end Brandon Graham's 2024 regular season came to an abrupt ending when he suffered a torn triceps injury in Week 12's win over the Los Angeles Rams.

At the time, it was an emotional rollercoaster for 36-year-old Graham, who had played his last game for the Birds.

But that may not be the case anymore.

With the Eagles en route to Super Bowl LIX after beating the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC championship, there's a chance Graham makes a return for the biggest game of the year.

“You know what man, we’ll see tomorrow,” Graham said following Sunday's win. “I’ll go meet up and we’ll see if it’s a possibility. I’ve been working, man, but we’re going to see. At the end of the day, I’m just happy we got there. Them boys scored 55 today. That’s what’s up. That might be telling me something.”

At the start of the 2024 regular season, Graham made it obvious that it was his "last ride" after 15 years in the league.

So, a Super Bowl win would complete his expected retirement, though he admits he will be just fine if he needs to watch his teammates from the sidelines.

“We didn’t really discuss all the (factors), everybody has been so hyped,” Graham said. “So we’re just going to see what they’re saying tomorrow. I’m with it regardless. Yes or no, it don’t matter. I’m just happy these guys are just working their butt off and now we got to the Super Bowl. Now we gotta go finish.”

Graham had racked up 20 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble before his injury.

His return for SBLIX would be a thrilling one -- even if he can only take limited snaps.
