Eagles CB headlines potential free-agent additions for Jaguars

Positional needs for Jacksonville Jaguars: CB, DL, S, TE

The Jaguars guaranteed $158M in free agency last year, the most in the league, per Spotrac. It paid off; they made the playoffs this season after having the worst record in the league the previous two seasons.

Their lack of cap space will limit their free-agent spending, but after a few cuts and contract restructurings, they could make a minor splash or two. CB Shaquill Griffin will probably be released, allowing Jacksonville to save $13.2M.

James Bradberry, CB, Philadelphia Eagles

CB Tyson Campbell is an emerging star, but there's not much else in the defensive backfield. Jacksonville ranked 27th in passing yards allowed per game this season; with Griffin likely out, the need for a cornerback is even greater.

Bradberry's signing would require substantial cap clearing, but it would be worthwhile as he's amidst a resurgent season. He has four interceptions this season (counting playoffs) and is Pro Football Focus' sixth-highest graded CB in coverage (81.5). His 45.1% percentage of receptions allowed is the lowest of his career.

Dalvin Tomlinson, DT, Minnesota Vikings

Jacksonville's front seven faces uncertainty heading into the offseason. DTs Corey Peters and Adam Gostis will hit free agency, along with DEs Arden Key and Dawuane Smoot. DE Roy Robertson-Harris might be a cap casualty. While Tomlinson would come at a loftier price tag, he'd provide better production.

PFF graded Tomlinson as the 13th-best interior defensive lineman this season (77). According to PFF writer Brad Spielberger, his cumulative pass-rush grade of 80.7 is the eighth best among players over 300 pounds. OLBs Josh Allen and Travon Walker could see their sack totals increase with Tomlinson up front.

Sportrac's calculated market value for Tomlinson estimates he'll earn a three-year, $25.5M contract.

Vonn Bell, S, Cincinnati Bengals

Jacksonville's thin DB room needs a heavy-hitting safety it can stack in the box. Bell intercepted a career-high four passes during the regular season, forced two fumbles and had five QB hits. He was PFF's 36th highest-graded safety but had the 17th-best pass-rush grade at the position.

Sportrac calculates that Bell will receive an estimated three-year, $30.4M deal based on previous contracts comparable players received.
