The Philadelphia Eagles are not expected to have their top target available for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith has been dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined throughout the week. According to ESPN’s Tim McManus, there is “not much optimism” that Smith will be healthy enough to suit up when the Rams visit Lincoln Financial Field. He is reportedly not expected to be in the lineup.

Smith has been sidelined with a hamstring injury this week and the expectation is he won’t be able to go Sunday.
Smith entered the 2026 campaign as the Eagles’ clear No. 1 wideout after the team traded AJ Brown to the New England Patriots in the offseason.
The 27-year-old has lived up to the billing thus far. He has been Jalen Hurts’ most targeted receiver in each of Philadelphia’s first three games.
Smith leads the team in both targets (27) and receptions (19), highlighted by a Week 2 performance where he caught 10 passes for 117 yards and a touchdown in a win over the Tennessee Titans.
The Rams have been dealing with a similar issue, as Puka Nacua missed the team’s last two games with a lingering hip injury. The Rams are hoping to get their All-Pro wide receiver back for Sunday’s game.
