The Philadelphia Eagles began their 2026 offseason coaching overhaul after a disappointing finish to the 2025 campaign. Philadelphia entered the offseason with questions about offensive leadership after firing offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo following the Eagles’ wild card round exit. The Eagles ranked 24th in total yards and 19th in scoring last season, well below their standards as a franchise once defined by high‑powered offense.
Head coach Nick Sirianni and the Eagles front office conducted an extensive search for the next offensive coordinator. Multiple candidates received interviews, including Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion, Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter, Houston Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Josh Grizzard.
On Thursday, Philadelphia hired Mannion as offensive coordinator. The 33-year-old's coaching tenure began in 2024 and included working closely with quarterbacks Jordan Love and Malik Willis.
Alongside Mannion, the Eagles are adding Grizzard as pass game coordinator, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Grizzard spent the 2025 season as offensive coordinator of the Buccaneers, having been elevated from passing game coordinator.
The Eagles’ overhaul of their offensive staff comes after a disappointing season for the defending Super Bowl champions. Philadelphia averaged 194.3 passing yards per game in the regular season, which ranked 23rd in the league.
