Eagles injury report: Milton Williams OUT but Philly getting healthier as gauntlet wears on
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have released their final injury report ahead of this week’s clash against the Buffalo Bills. A huge win over the Kansas City Chiefs leaves the Eagles in good stead to host the Bills this weekend, but they will be doing so without a couple of key names.

Eagles injury report: Reasons for optimism

The opening half of the season was tough for Philadelphia from an injury perspective. Cluster setbacks ripped through the secondary and defensive line, while Jalen Hurts battled an ongoing leg injury.

The good news is that the only players to miss Friday’s practice were mostly depth guys. The one omission to that is Milton Williams, who, while a rotational DT, made a huge impact against the Chiefs and has been enjoying a great season in Philadelphia.

Dallas Goedert is joined by Grant Calcaterra on the injury report, which means the Birds will be down to ‘Albert O’ and Jack Stoll at Tight End this week. Fans have urged the Eagles to give Julio Jones some snaps at tight end and we’re getting closer to that becoming a reality it seems.

The good news

Every starter listed on the injury report appears to be fully healthy! DeVonta Smith missed practice today due to a knee injury but is not listed on the injury report, so we can assume he’ll be suiting up against the Bills.

Bills vs Eagles

The Eagles are set to lock horns with the Bills on Sunday at 4:25PM ET.
