Eagles interview notable offensive coordinator candidate
Kellen Moore. Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles are rebuilding their coaching staff after a disastrous end to the season, and they may hire a big-name offensive coordinator.

Kellen Moore interviewed with the Eagles on Thursday for their offensive coordinator job, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports.

Moore spent last season as the offensive coordinator with the Los Angeles Chargers. He is still under contract with the team, but he will likely wind up elsewhere in 2024 now that the Chargers have hired Jim Harbaugh as head coach.

The Cleveland Browns have also requested permission to interview Moore, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Moore spent four seasons as OC with the Dallas Cowboys prior to joining Brandon Staley’s staff in L.A. He is still widely viewed as one of the top offensive minds in football. Moore even recently drew some interest for a college head coach job.

The Eagles fired offensive coordinator Brian Johnson and defensive coordinator Sean Desai after their disappointing first-round playoff exit. They have reportedly replaced Desai with a highly respected coach. Nick Sirianni would have a star-studded staff heading into 2024 if Philadelphia can land Moore as well.
