Eagles just got a prime-time shot at team that tried to sabotage them

If you can't beat the Philadelphia Eagles, try playing the victim.

That's what they say, right?

If you were to ask the Green Bay Packers, they'd be lying to you if they disagreed with that statement. After all, their actions this offseason proved as much.

The Packers were the team that originally submitted the proposal to ban the Eagles 'tush push' play altogether. Forget the idea that other teams did end up backing their proposal. This was an act of pure cowardice. There is no other way to spin it.

And now, the NFL schedule release is doing exactly what Eagles fans were hoping it would.

The Eagles get their shot to run the tush push all over the Packers in prime time

In a long line of some intriguing schedule announcements before the full slate was released, it was reported that the Eagles will travel to Green Bay in Week 10 to take on the Packers at Lambeau Field for Monday Night Football.

It is a rematch from this past season's Wild Card Round when the Eagles beat the Packers by a score of 22-10 before ultimately going on to win the Super Bowl.

Funny enough, Jalen Hurts didn't even wind up with a rushing touchdown in this game. He did throw a pair of touchdown passes, though.

The fact Hurts didn't even burn them for a goal-line touchdown in this game, but Green Bay would go on to complain to the league about the signature play, is absolutely hysterical.

This has big-time "little brother" vibes, and it has for quite some time.

Now, as the two teams get later into the season, a pivotal prime time matchup could be the difference in playoff seeding at the end of the year.

It's a road game for Philly, but that shouldn't matter too much. The Eagles are still the better team. Hurts is the better quarterback. The Eagles have the better defense and higher-level weapons on offense (hello, Saquon?).

This chance at embarrassment should come full circle, exploding right back in the Packers' face.

And it's going to be beautiful.
