The Philadelphia Eagles made a series of roster moves before the team took the field for their first training camp practice of 2022.

Meet the newest Eagles to join the nest

Tight end, Jaeden Graham, center Cameron Tom, and wide receiver Lance Lenoir were all signed to the roster while Jarrid Williams was released.

Graham played the tight end spot for Atlanta over the last few seasons and has caught one touchdown pass in his NFL career.

Tom was an undrafted free agent back in 2017 and has appeared in 13 games with the Saints making one start. Lenoir is also an undrafted free agent who turned heads with the Cowboys in preseason but has dealt with injury concerns and has bounced around different team’s practice squads.

It’s a slow start for these Birds

The Eagles also announced that Richard Rodgers, Brett Toth, and Tyree Jackson were all placed on the active physically unable to perform list. Toth and Jackson both were injured in the team’s final game of the 2021 regular season against Dallas. Toth is considered a solid project tackle, while Jackson has struggled to stay healthy.

A lot of people were excited to see Tyree Jackson in action after a stunning summer last year. That wait has been extended further as he aims to get healthy as soon as possible. It looks as though Jaeden Graham will be taking his training camp snaps to begin with. This also bodes well for Grant Calcaterra, who was drafted by the Birds this offseason and has playing experience with Jalen Hurts.

When players are named to the PUP list, they are able to join the team immediately after passing a physical when healthy. If a player isn’t able to play and goes on the regular season PUP list, they would be out for the first six weeks.

The roster now sits at 89 players as training camp kicks off.
