The Philadelphia Eagles played a great game in their 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.
The Eagles totaled 459 yards, averaging 7.0 yards per play. Quarterback Jalen Hurts completed 20-of-28 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown and added three rushing scores on the ground.
Running back Saquon Barkley tallied 118 yards and three touchdowns on 15 carries. Wide receiver A.J. Brown caught six passes for 96 yards and a touchdown.
The Eagles made history by scoring 55 points, the highest total in an NFC Championship game. The previous best total was 49 points, set by the Carolina Panthers in the 2015 season.
The highest score in an AFC Championship is 51 points by the Buffalo Bills during the 1990 season.

The Commanders allowed the Eagles to score 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter, extending a 34-23 lead to a broader 55-23 win.
Philadelphia forced Washington into four turnovers (three fumbles lost and one interception). Over their three playoff games, the Eagles have no turnovers while forcing their opponents into 10.
Philadelphia will represent the NFC in Super Bowl 59 and will face the winner of the AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles will play in their second Super Bowl in three years. The franchise won the first and only title in Super Bowl 52.
