Eagles officially sign 2024 fifth-round pick Trevor Keegan

Philadelphia Eagles fifth-round pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, Trevor Keegan, officially signed his rookie contract over the weekend.

Keegan inked a four-year deal worth $4.2 million, Per Spotrac.

Before making the jump to the NFL, Keegan was a three-year starter at left guard for Michigan.

Most notably, Keegan was the Wolverines'  senior captain when they won the National Championship last year. He was also a key part of the Michigan offensive line that won back-to-back Joe Moore Awards for the best on-line in college football.

The Eagles' offensive line currently has no openings except for at right guard, which is definitely a position Keegan could find himself competing for throughout the offseason.

For now, Keegan is just happy to be in Philly and is most excited about practicing the iconic tush push.

“As a fan, before I got drafted here, the tush push, the physicality, and the nastiness that the unit plays with is something I liked to embark on in my game while I was in college,” Keegan told reporters after he was drafted. "I love setting the tone in the run game. I love the first short yardage, being able to blow the guy off the ball, the tush push, I'm excited for it I can't wait to practice it and do it with the guys."

In addition to Keegan, the Eagles signed sixth-round pick Johnny Wilson to his rookie deal over the weekend.

That leaves seven rookies from this year's draft class left to sign.
