Though Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce has stated he’s still on the fence about whether or not he’ll retire or return for a 14th season in 2024, one of his teammates believes Kelce has already made up his mind.
During a recent interview with NBC Sports over Super Bowl weekend, Eagles left tackle Jordan Mailata confessed that he thinks the 36-year-old Kelce has played his last snap in the NFL.
“There's no shot [he returns],” Mailata said. “You're telling me he's going shirts off in the games, gambling in the casinos, he's coming back? No way. He's having too much fun. He's out there living his life. And I'm going to miss him? For sure, man. This has been the greatest six years of my life for sure, being here in the NFL and getting to meet people like Jason Kelce.”
Despite his brother Travis telling reporters during Super Bowl media day that he believes Jason will suit up for the Eagles in their 2024 season opener in Brazil, Jason appears to be enjoying his free time since Philly’s season ended following a 32-9 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Super Wild Card Weekend on Jan. 15.

The elder Kelce brother has been seen shirtless on more than one occasion, even chugging some beer with Bills Mafia before the Buffalo Bills' divisional-round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in which Travis totaled five receptions for 75 yards and two touchdowns.
Over his 13-year career, Jason has made seven Pro Bowls, been a six-time All-Pro selection and won a Super Bowl.
He’s started all 193 games he’s played in, allowing one sack or fewer seven times and never allowing more than 35 pressures (an average of two per game) in any season, per Pro Football Focus.
