The full NFL schedule will drop on Wednesday evening, but the league is announcing some of the season’s more exciting matchups a bit earlier. One of those showdowns includes a rematch from last season’s Wild Card Round, where the Eagles defeated the Packers in Philadelphia.
We have a date for that one, as the reigning Super Bowl champions will head to Green Bay in Week 10. It’s slated for Monday, Nov. 10 — a Monday Night Football on ESPN clash for two NFC contenders. It should be a doozy of a game. Check out the announcement below.

During their Wild Card battle, the Packers’ offense simply couldn’t get anything done against the Eagles’ defense. Philadelphia raced out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, and that lasted until halftime.
Green Bay got it within six early in the fourth quarter, due to a Josh Jacobs touchdown run. Subsequently, Jake Elliott would nail a field goal to put the Eagles up nine, and they would never look back, moving on to the NFC Divisional Round in the process.
We all know how it ended for the Eagles, on top of the NFL world when it was all said and done. Who knows where each team will stand in Week 10, but Philadelphia and Green Bay are slated to be two of the top teams in the NFL this season, and it’s easy to see why the league announced this one early.
In addition to their announced showdown with the Packers, we know who the Eagles opponent will be for the NFL season-opening showdown in Week 1. Philadelphia will welcome the Dallas Cowboys to the City of Brotherly Love on Sept. 4. The NFC East rivalry will be renewed to begin the 2025 campaign with a bang.
Last season, the Eagles took care of business against the Cowboys and then some. Philadelphia swept the season series against Dallas, defeating their rival by a combined score of 75-13 in their two matchups.
It’s been awhile since the Cowboys have gone into Philadelphia and defeated the Eagles, as well. The last time that happened was in 2022, when Dallas put the hurt on their rival to the tune of a 51-26 win.
This season’s matchup will certainly have some extra juice, as it’ll start the 2025 NFL season, and feature the return of Dak Prescott to the Cowboys, as well as the first game for the franchise with Brian Schottenheimer as their head coach. The Eagles will have some tremendous vibes as well, hanging their banner on Sept. 4 after winning the Super Bowl in February.
