Eagles Place RB Will Shipley On Injured Reserve

Shipley will miss a minimum of four games before he’s eligible to return.

It’s worth noting the Eagles also have RB Tank Bigsby on injured reserve, while RB Saquon Barkley missed Week 5 with a hamstring issue.

Shipley, 24, was a fourth-round pick by the Eagles in the 2024 draft out of Clemson. He signed a four-year, $4,736,964 rookie deal through 2027 and is making a base salary of $1,075,000 in 2026.

In 2026, Shipley has appeared in five games for the Eagles and rushed 20 times for 57 yards and a touchdown. He’s also caught five passes for 31 yards.
