This midseason Monday night matchup is set to bring some extra spice as the Eagles and Packers face off in what's becoming a fun rivalry.
Just last season, the Eagles knocked Green Bay out of the playoffs with a 22–10 win in the NFC Wild Card game. And before that, Philly pulled off a historic victory in the NFL’s first-ever game in Brazil.
The Eagles roll into the 2025 season as defending Super Bowl champs with a loaded offense returning nearly all its starters, most notably MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts and tight end Dallas Goedert, who just restructured his deal to stay in Philly. With Kevin Patullo taking over as offensive coordinator, they’re looking to take things to an even higher level.
On the other side, Green Bay is coming off an 11-win season but still finished third in the NFC North. Quarterback Jordan Love continues to lead a young, evolving squad that just added promising rookie wideout Matthew Golden. There's plenty of competition brewing too, with veterans like Christian Watson being pushed by new talent.
And if the game needed any more drama, there’s the lingering tension over the Eagles’ “Tush Push” play -- a controversial move the Packers attempted to get banned. All that will make for a heated, high-stakes battle under the lights at Lambeau on Monday Night Football.
