Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson holding his annual "OL Masterminds Summit" in Dallas earlier this month may not have been the best idea.
As Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk wrote, many in attendance were seen not properly wearing face coverings and/or failing to observe social-distancing guidelines.
On Wednesday, the 30-year-old one-time Super Bowl champion confirmed via Twitter that he tested positive for the coronavirus.

The three-time Pro Bowler and one-time First-Team All-Pro wrote that he feels "strong and ready to go" and also that he tested negative for the virus 18 days ago.
COVID-19 sometimes has a tricky incubation period, though, and that's one reason why athletes not in bubble sites such as the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex are urged to avoid any activities that could lead to popping a positive coronavirus test result.
However Johnson became infected, here's hoping he follows all quarantine and self-isolation protocols and can produce the required negative test results to join Eagles teammates as quickly as possible.
