Hours after it was reported that the Philadelphia Eagles' Tush Push play would be banned, it's officially here to stay.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz reported Wednesday afternoon that the Tush Push did not receive enough votes and won't be going anywhere in 2025.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell strongly advocated for banning the Tush Push play, but he was unable to gain the support of the 24 teams needed to pass the measure.
Last month, the proposal received 16 votes against, resulting in a tie. The outcome of the most recent vote has not yet been disclosed.
Before the owners reached their decision on Wednesday, legendary center Jason Kelce was in Minneapolis, addressing concerns about the Tush Push. Whatever he said clearly had an impact.
Kelce had already spoken candidly about the play on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, reassuring fans that even if the Tush Push were banned, the Eagles would be just fine.
He also shut down the rumors, saying he retired because of the dangers of the play.
"This feels like it's the most legitimate chance it's had since they've been voting on it to be banned. I'll say this, I'm actually going to Minnesota," Kelce said. "So there's some things said at the last Owners Meetings. Some of the owners and coaches hinted that the reason I stopped playing was because of the tush push and that I got hurt on the tush push frequently."
"I don't care if it gets banned or not. I think that at the end of the day, this is why you vote on things. And if they vote to ban the tush push, the Eagles are still going to run quarterback sneaks at a very high percentage," he added. "I'm just going to offer any type of, if anybody has any questions about the tush push, or if I retired because of the tush push."
For now, the Eagles won’t need to come up with a new quarterback sneak, but the rest of the league will have to keep searching for ways to stop it.
Philly wins big.
