PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has suffered an apparent injury on his left, non-throwing hand ahead of Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Hurts was spotted entering Lincoln Financial Field wearing a splint over the ring finger on his left hand in photo posted by NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Hurts was listed on the injury report with the finger injury this week, but was deemed a full participant and is expected to be able to play despite the injury. It’s unclear if Hurts intends to play with the splint on his finger.
If Hurts is unable to play or is ineffective, former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round draft pick Kenny Pickett is the Eagles’ backup quarterback.
Pickett was the Steelers’ primary starter for the last two seasons, but lost his starting job to Mason Rudolph after an ankle injury down the stretch run of last season. He requested a trade after the Steelers signed Russell Wilson early this past offseason.

Hurts has set career highs in accuracy (68.3 completion percentage) and efficiency (102.4 passer rating) this season.
The Steelers and Eagles are scheduled to kick off at 4:25 p.m. from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
