The summer has been well spent for Philadelphia Eagles running back AJ Dillon and his wife, Gabrielle. The couple recently returned to Gabrielle's home state of Wisconsin, where Dillon previously played as a member of the Green Bay Packers.
"We got quite a bit done in less than two days, and it just made me so excited to come back for the summer," she said in her vlog.
"We have so many fun things planned."
That plan turned out to be for something grander as the couple announced that they are welcoming a new member of the family. The Dillon household revealed via Instagram that they are going to be "party of 4." The post came with photos of the family at a beach and their son Trey happily flaunting the ultrasound photos.
Friends and fans swarmed the post with messages of congratulations and well-wishes.
"Congrats brother!" fitness coach Derek Pratt said.
"Amazing news so excited for your fam," wrote Monika stone, wife of Packers QB Jordan Love and Dillon's former teammate.
"Literally so excited ," professional golfer Anna de Palma commented.
Dillon and his family will gear up for a new chapter with a new addition as they and the Eagles fans await his and team's decision regarding his NFL career.
He joined the Eagles in March last year on a one-year deal after missing the entire 2024 season with the Packers. He was expected to serve as the RB2 behind Saquon Barkley as the Eagles attempted to defend their Super Bowl title, but he played in only seven games. He also did not appear in the Wild Card round, where the team was shockingly eliminated by the San Francisco 49ers.
