NFLPA Report Cards Were Released Recently, With the Eagles Receiving Some Surprising Results
Every offseason, the NFLPA releases its report cards, grading each team on various aspects. That was expected to change this season, when the results were intended to be kept unavailable to the public. That was until recently, when the grades for each team were leaked.
The Eagles, along with the rest of the NFL teams,
had their results released, and the Eagles had some surprising results.
Eagles Grades
The
Eagles had some notable areas of strength and weakness in their NFLPA report card, with improvements and declines in certain areas.
Strengths
They ranked 20th among the 32 teams in the NFL in 2026, an
improvement from 2025 when they ranked 22nd. The Eagles received many high grades, with the highest being an A+ for the defensive coordinator. It is no surprise that
Vic Fangio is loved by the players. The Eagles received an A in multiple other categories, including head coach, special teams coordinator, training staff, home game field, and food/dining area, among others.
Seeing much of the coaching staff receive such high grades is an encouraging sign for the Eagles, especially
Nick Sirianni. Even in a year with a lot of turbulence, Sirianni and Fangio were still bright spots for the organization. Although Sirianni is far from perfect, his players having confidence in him is encouraging as the Eagles look to bounce back in the 2026 season. His 2026 grade was also an improvement from 2025, when he received an A-.
Weaknesses
The Eagles received many strong grades in their NFLPA report card, but did have a few areas of improvement. Most notably, team travel and locker room received an F and a D.
Team travel was an F in 2025 and 2026, showing that not much changed between the two seasons. While there aren’t any details from the 2026 survey, the 2025 survey provided some insight as to why:
“43% of the Eagles players believe they have a comfortable amount of personal space on team flights, ranking them 30 out of 32. The players feel that their team’s travel schedule is not very efficient, a rank of 26 out of 32 teams. Players feel they should get first-class seats on team flights instead of the coaching staff.”
It is fair to assume many of these issues remained and are why the Eagles received another low grade.
The most interesting grade from the list, though, was the
offensive coordinator, who received a C+. The criticism of
Kevin Patullo throughout the year from outside of the building was strong, and it seems, at least to a certain extent, that some of the same concerns existed. Only seven other teams received a lower grade than the Eagles did in this regard.
Sean Mannion will look to improve on this grade in 2026.
The Eagles’ NFLPA report card provided mixed results overall for the Eagles. Given that Sirianni, as well as much of the coaching staff, received strong grades, though, there are things Eagles fans have to be excited about moving forward into the 2026 season.
