Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown was ruled out for Sunday's game against the New York Giants. He missed each practice session this week with a hamstring injury.
Brown was bothered by a hamstring issue in the summer but has suited up for all seven games this season with the Eagles.
The three-time Pro Bowl selection had four receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns in Philadelphia's 28-22 victory over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. That production represented a steep increase from previous weeks. He has 29 catches for 395 yards and three scores on the season.
Reports have surfaced that Brown and fellow wide receiver DeVonta Smith were unhappy with the Eagles offense. Brown has been frustrated with his role — which he perceived as too minor — in the Eagles offense and has been taking to social media to post cryptic messages.
Naturally, as with any disgruntled star player, speculation began to run rampant that the Eagles could trade Brown. Given his skill set, he'd be high on the list for receiver-needy teams. However, it appears that Philadelphia is unwilling to trade Brown — and for good reason.

Philadelphia (5-2) will also be without center Cam Jurgens (knee), linebacker Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) and cornerbacks Adoree' Jackson (concussion) and Jakorian Bennett (pectoral) when it hosts New York (2-5). Bennett was a full participant at practice Friday but remains on injured reserve.
The Eagles also ruled out defensive end Brandon Graham, who recently came out of retirement to join Philadelphia for a 16th season. The two-time Super Bowl champion with 76.5 career sacks is still ramping up to playing condition.
