Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley didn’t hold back when addressing the team’s current offensive struggles and called for a return to the mentality that helped them reach and win a Super Bowl last season.

"Last year, do you think we were predictable? Everybody knew we were going to run the ball. We still got it off," Barkley said after the team's Week 6 loss to the New York Giants. "I also think we got to get back to the attitude, the mindset of, not really giving a f--k what people are trying to do."

It's a good reminder to his teammates who need to stop worrying about what they can't control and what they can, which is their confidence and mindset.

Jalen Hurts' Message is similar to Saquon Barkley's

While others are taking the easy route and saying the offense is too predictable, quarterback Jalen Hurts is on the same page as Barkley and taking accountability for not capitalizing on opportunities.

"You know, you don't look at it that way, not as a quarterback," Hurts said about being too predictable. "You know, you got so many opportunities in the game. Got so many opportunities in the game to take advantage of it. Want to go out there and play the type of ball we know we're capable of playing. And a lot of that you know for the brand of ball we kind of established ourselves to play. It's been playing with good detail, being smart in situations, and being able to capitalize on some of these big point swings in the game.

"And so we got to do a better job at that, and I have to lead better in terms of executing in those situations, because it starts with me in the red zone in two minutes operationally. So still, still digging, still digging, I'm digging and trying to control the things that I can with that and grow from it all."

The Eagles had a longer weekend to get their mind right after playing on Thursday Night. The hope is that they were able to use the time wisely before returning to the NovaCare Complex on Monday to prepare for their Week 7 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
