If the Philadelphia Eagles' wide receiver room couldn't handle another injury at training camp, it just did.
Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith missed practice for the second consecutive day on Tuesday due to back tightness, with his timetable to return unknown. The news only got worse at wide receiver, with another player getting hurt who had a solid training camp through the first week.
During 11-on-11 drills, 94 WIP Eagles reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks reported that Terrace Marshall Jr. was slow to get up after the drill. He was headed to the injury tent at the time, but there has been no update on the severity of the injury or its specific details.

Shorr-Parks gave all indications that it was another rough practice for the offense and the team is struggling to do well in the red zone. Quarterback Jalen Hurts now more than ever needs all his top receivers available to throw to so that the unit can get into rhythm together.
Marshall has been one of the bright spots at training camp for the Eagles so far, as he has reportedly made multiple great plays. He's been getting praise from his teammates like A.J. Brown for the way he has conducted himself and performed in the offseason and at training camp.
The former Raiders and Panthers receiver has made 67 passes for 808 yards and one touchdown in 43 games. While Marshall has not lived up to his second-round pick, he appears to be the real deal at least in the Eagles' eyes.
He's trying to sneak his way into the starting lineup against Jahan Dotson for the number three receiver spot. Marshall is not a lock for a roster spot with Johnny Wilson, Ainias Smith, and Danny Gray competing for the remaining receiver spots.
The Eagles can't afford to have Marshall sidelined with DeVonta Smith also injured. On the flip side, Marshall can't afford to lose reps at practice with the threat of other players eyeing his job.
Philly fans hope that Marshall and Smith come back quickly and continue to play well in training camp.
