Early Lions 2026 mock draft makes one thing clear (they’re done falling short)

it's far too soon to think about where the Detroit Lions will be falling in next year's draft, but hopefully, it won't be until the 32nd overall pick as the team looks to make the Super Bowl and win the whole thing once and for all. Until then, we can only assume that, barring any disastrous injuries or moves by the Lions, they'll be picking pretty late in the first round after another successful season. With a late pick, though, Detroit can still make some big selections given their needs aren't at hugely impactful positions as of now. They can use extra pass rush help, another center, and more help in the secondary. Looking ahead, there will be plenty of players who can fill those needs for the team in 2026.
