Everywhere you look in the morning of May 6, you see highlights of Netflix's roast of legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady, which aired last Sunday.
The star-studded event gave us all kinds of jokes from all kinds of guests but New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning dominated the whole thing by delivering a hilarious jab to Brady without even having to attend the big show over the weekend.
Manning funnily suggested on Twitter/X he took it easy on Brady and decided not to attend because he "did not want to roast him for a third time."
I thought about attending the Roast of Tom Brady last night, but I did not want to Roast him for a 3rd time!!

Listen, Manning is no stranger to comedy as he's shown Giants and NFL fans a playful side of him since retiring from the league, doing so at a national stage every week during ESPN's Manningcasts of Monday Night Football. With two Super Bowl wins against arguably the greatest of all time, it shouldn't be a surprise that Brady jokes are in his arsenal.
Recently, Manning "freestyled" at the Pro Bowl and went viral with some bars that would put today's Kendrick Lamar's and Drake's trending diss tracks to shame:
“I’m Eli Manning, I’m Nice

Sure, the best Manning-inspired memories in the minds of Giants fans will always be about his on-field achievements. But who doesn't love to see him simply having fun fulfilling these side quests?
I've got only one complaint: Now I'll be wondering the damage Manning could've done up on that stage. I guess we'll never know.
