Embarrassing loss in Atlanta for the Colts, and they fall to 8-7
Robert Scheer/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

The Indianapolis Colts had a huge opportunity to advance their standing in the AFC and fumbled it away in Week 16.

The Atlanta Falcons dominated them on the day, losing 29-10.

Colts Offense:

The Colts offense found the endzone only one time today on the opening drive of the game. Then they were punched in the mouth all game long. Resulting in one of their most embarrassing losses of the season. This game likely made Michael Pittman Jr. some money, as he is the engine that makes this offense go. Without him, they were beyond stagnant.

Colts Defense:

The Colts had another backup QB on the schedule this week, and similar to their Week 14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, it didn't matter. Taylor Heinicek was comfortable all game long, completing 23 of his 33 pass attempts for 229 yards and a touchdown, and was only sacked once on the day. It was an embarrassing showing from start to finish from Gus Bradley's unit.

Stat Leaders:

Passing

Gardner Minshew: 20/37 (54.1%), 201 yards, 0 touchdowns, 1 interception

Receiving

Kylen Granson: 5 receptions, 62 yards

Tackles

E.J. Speed: 13 total tackles, 10 solo
