Emmanuel Acho received some bad news recently about his media career, and the former NFL linebacker has addressed it with a message on social media.
Andrew Marchand of The Athletic reported on Monday that Fox Sports is making a series of changes to its FS1 on-air programming. Included among those changes is the cancellation of "The Facility," which is a morning show that is co-hosted by Acho and fellow former NFL players Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy.
Shortly after the report surfaced, Acho shared a message via X.
"In sports, when you’re not good enough, you get cut.
"In TV, when you’re not good enough, you get cancelled.
"I’m not going to try and come to y’all with some 'Big announcements soon. Stay tuned' because I don’t actually know what’s coming. But what I do know is I trust God," Acho wrote.

Acho, 34, was drafted in the sixth round by the Cleveland Browns in 2022. He played four NFL seasons, three of which were with the Philadelphia Eagles. The former Texas star finished his career with 33 total tackles.
Acho has been with FS1 since 2020. Now that "The Facility" has been cancelled, he is less likely to be retained by the network.
