The Pittsburgh Steelers recently released their 2025 schedule, but one analyst believes that the worst is awaiting the team in the early going.
On Wednesday, some of the ESPN crew were discussing what is interesting to them about some of the team's schedules. But when discussing the Steelers, Dan Orlovsky predicted the team to have a very rough start.
"I think you're staring at 0-6 in the face," Orlovsky said.
Here are the Steelers' first six opponents that they will face in the first month and a half of the season:
Week 1 at New York Jets
Week 2 vs. Seattle Seahawks
Week 3 at New England Patriots
Week 4 vs. Minnesota Vikings
Week 5 BYE
Week 6 vs. Cleveland Browns
Week 7 at Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football
The main reason Orlovsky and the rest of the ESPN crew make this claim is because they would rather have the quarterback situations of every one of those teams besides the Steelers with Mason Rudolph.

But he has shown in the past that he can get the job when the team needs him to. He led the Steelers to three straight to end the 2023 season, which got the team into the playoffs.
So he is by no means a bad NFL QB.
Would the Steelers rather have someone else under center? Probably. But that does not mean Rudolph cannot beat a team like the Browns, who have five quarterbacks, none of which are the solidified starter.
The team might have a tough go to start the season, but saying they will start 0-6 could be stretching it.
