In the early minutes of the Week 2 NFL Sunday slate, ESPN’s Fantasy Football app experienced delays that saw scores fail to update in a timely manner after big moments took place.
The app appears to operate as normal, with the scores and remaining times of the actual NFL games updating, however, players' fantasy scores did not appear to move.
Users of the app were quick to take notice and post their complaints to social media within minutes of the 1 p.m. ET slate kicking off, as not being able to track how their teams are doing has become a crisis for some. [Editor's Note: As of 1:40 p.m. ET, some users began reporting that the app is working.]
The ESPN Fantasy Football app isn’t working. Come on @ESPNFantasy - fix this!

"Another @NFL Sunday and another week of @ESPNFantasy cast being the most useless POS app in existence. Games are miles behind again. Same as last year. FIX THIS," said another.
"Death, taxes, and ESPN Fantasy app malfunctions on football Sundays," added another.
"So ESPN has added a red frame around the screen on NFL RedZone, while the ESPN App and ESPN Fantasy App both glitch out. All time performance," joked another.
As of writing, ESPN has yet to release a statement or update on the matter, which seems to be even more frustrating to fans.
Instead, ESPN's Fantasy Sports app is posting highlights from games as fans flood to the comment section to air out their complaints. In all likelihood, it will be fixed, but in terms of fans being able to follow along throughout the day, that may be a bit more difficult.
